Le Lert

Le Lert, which means “excellent” or “supreme” in Thai, refers to something outstanding or exceptional in a particular way. This modern Thai fusion spot in the heart of Toronto blends "Thai Western" flavours in a laid-back setting at Yonge and College. The menu, led by Suksaen, an experienced restaurateur, is packed with creative dishes like scrambled eggs with crispy roasted pork belly, spicy XO pasta, and lemongrass beef stew pot pie. Throw in some killer cocktails, and you’ve got a dining experience that’s fun, flavourful, and memorable.

Asian fusion is all over the place, but Thai fusion has so many elements to play with, making it tricky to get across the "Thai" part right off the bat. We needed to find a way to show people that this isn’t just any fusion—it's something uniquely Thai. With the clean, bright vibe of the restaurant, the challenge was balancing the fusion concept while making sure the food colours stood out. The goal? To make sure people instantly recognize and remember it as “Thai fusion” the moment they walk in.
