Testing and analysis for energy storage
We run the measurements and the analysis that a cell, material or process needs before a decision is made about it. Work is quoted per project with a defined scope, a sample plan, a delivery date and a written report. Results and raw data are yours.
Contract testing
- Electrochemical characterisation. Formation, rate capability, capacity and energy at temperature, impedance spectroscopy and pulse power.
- Life testing. Cycle life and calendar ageing under defined protocols, with periodic reference performance tests and interim data releases.
- Safety and abuse. Overcharge, external short, nail penetration and thermal tests in instrumented chambers, with video and temperature records.
- Materials. Particle size, surface area, moisture, slurry rheology, coating weight and adhesion, electrolyte conductivity and water content.
Analysis and diagnostics
- Failure analysis. Post-mortem disassembly in an inert atmosphere, electrode and separator inspection, and a root cause report for capacity fade, impedance growth or field failures.
- Benchmarking. Side by side comparison of cells, materials or suppliers against your specification under identical conditions.
- Data analysis. Differential voltage and incremental capacity analysis, degradation mode attribution and model fitting on your data or ours.
Process and method development
- Formulation and coating. Slurry formulation, coating and drying trials, calendering studies and electrode qualification.
- Scale-up. Moving a chemistry from coin cells to pouch or cylindrical formats, with the process record needed for a pilot line.
- Laboratory setup. Specification, layout and commissioning of a battery laboratory or pilot line, including the instruments we supply and support.
How a project runs
- Scope. A short call and a one-page scope: samples, protocols, deliverables, timeline and a fixed price.
- Testing. Work runs in our Bangkok laboratory or on your equipment, with interim data on request.
- Report. A written report with method, results, interpretation and recommendations, delivered with the raw data.
Confidentiality is covered by a mutual non-disclosure agreement before any sample ships.
